3. present research in correct and appropriate written form (std 3).
Procedure:
A. Select a myth that represents the culture of that country/region and reflects the characteristics of myths.
B. Research the culture and its mythology. How does your story reflect characteristics of myths and the culture that produced it?
C. Write a group research paper that includes the following:
1. An introduction with thesis indicating story, culture, and key connections.
2. A brief summary of your myth relating your story to the larger culture.
3. A story analysis looking at the natural events and nature of humanity explained in the story.
4. A culture analysis of the story looking at the beliefs reflected and how they relate to the larger culture.
5. A culture comparison of the myth looking at archetypes and connections to Greek and Roman mythology.
6. A conclusion that restates the main points and relates back to the introduction.
7. An MLA Works Cited including a minimum of three sources of at least two different types (linked to electronic documents).
NOTE: Every body paragraph needs to cite at least two separate sources.
D. Post your group research paper on the class wikispace. Include maps, photos, images, and links to relevant websites.
